Royal Rumble Predictions

Royal Rumble of Men

Geno Mrosko : They have done an incredible job by building this match as a match by building up some clear favorites to win it. In fact, there is only one person I can win, so it is the choice I make here. Pick: Seth Rollins

Sean Rueter : When you look back, how loud the "BURN IT DOWN" songs were at a certain point in time, and how anxious people are talking about Dean being swollen while being hurt outside Then it's worth noting that none of the Shield guys feel like a hot choice for this thing. Maybe WWE is planning the rolled-up Rollins plan, but at the time I think Vince is trying something that's true and true. He does not even have to do much to sell the story in which he chased his 17th WWE World Championship title while beating his fans against the consumer, who was almost his brother-in-law. Pick: John Cena

Kyle Decker : At this point, it's really Seth Rollins or Drew McIntyre. (I have Bray Wyatt as a dark surprise horse, but I can not imagine who he would match Mania with.) Between Drew and Seth, it depends on whether you believe in the reverse momentum theory or not. At this point, I'm not picking: Seth Rollins

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : I would really like it to be Kofi or an equally unconventional choice, as we discussed with Brent Brookhouse a week or two ago, but unfortunately I'm not sure enough to make my choice here. Anyway, at the best of times, the Universal Championship scene is unpredictable, so I easily go off-road and pick Monster Among Men myself for a belated showdown with Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania . Selection: Brown Strowman

Cain A. Knight : The potential winners of the Raw squad are Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre or possibly Braun Strowman if he joins the game. The potential winners in the SmackDown squad are … nobody? Pretty much all of the potential winners of the part-time team are Goldberg or Undertaker here to challenge Brock at WrestleMania 35 is a very WWE thing. I just play it safe and stay with the rumor mill. Pick: Dolph Ziggler Seth Rollins

Stella Cheeks : I can not cheat on my husband. Pick: Drew McIntyre

Royal Rumble for Women

Geno Mrosko : It's hard to imagine anyone winning this match outside of Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair, and currently only one is planned. When it comes to merit or how hot a wrestler is or the work he has done in recent months and the potential for what he could do, the choice is obvious. Pick: Charlotte Flair

Sean Rueter : It's pretty compelling to go one of two ways, and since I've just gone with someone, we're not sure if we're ever fighting for the rumble of the men to stand. I will go with a person who will definitely be in the woman. Pick: Charlotte Flair

Kyle Decker : I can not decide against the man who wins the rumble. I wonder how the crowd, who will be a hardcore crowd, would react if she is not there. It would not be a Daniel Bryan 2014 situation, but they would be a bit angry. And you will not add her if she does not win, especially if she's losing a title. Selection: Becky Lynch

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : I have had ups and downs in recent years with Charlotte's work, but I am currently very interested in what she brings to the table. And the queen, Royal Rumble, is sure to lose her, no? Pick: Charlotte Flair

Cain A. Knight : It all depends on Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair, and Lynch may not even be in the match. It usually defeats the purpose of Rumble if Becky loses her championship game earlier in the night just to win that rumble and win another championship game. If someone already demonstrates that he can not win the title, why should you look forward to the person winning another shot? The more interesting way is when Becky first defeats Asuka for the title and then wins this rumble. If WWE All-In is for The Man, book it. Pick: Becky Lynch

Stella Cheeks : If the McMahons are true to their word (L O L) and we are really responsible, then there is no other answer than The Man Becky Lynch. Of course, Charlotte is added to the match before Mania, but that's a problem for another day. Pick: Becky Lynch

Brock Lesnar Vs. Finn Balor

Geno Mrosko : There is literally nothing in the world that makes me believe that Finn Balor could win this match. A snowball has better chances in hell. Pick: Brock Lesnar

Sean Rueter : I believe. I also believe that he will not wear it in WrestleMania. But the new era needs to be shaken up, and this will shock people like the Survivor Series 1616. Pick: Finn Bálor

Kyle Decker : There was a part of me that convinced me of a Balor victory. Given the way they built him as the man who could not make it, the only way to end this story would be to do it. But the chances of Brock going to Mania and not Champion are slim. Sorry, Finn. Maybe the next time you bring the demon. Prediction: Pain Brock Lesnar

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Great games against AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan have proven that Brock still has enough of having the best guys in the world to bring him through an excellent match. I do not think Finn at this level is pretty but he's close, and that should be a shout. As far as I've been selected, I've played the Rumble Safe, so we disagree and get on our feet … Pick: Finn Balor

Cain A. Knight : This game is going to be Strowman Vs. Lesnar, that's a big advantage. The Lesnar segment on Raw, however, left a bad taste in my mouth. Braun Strowman's focus was way too big and of course Balor could not even get the needle for The Monster before the championship game with The Beast. It is clear that Balor is only a stopgap and Strowman is given priority protection. This means that the regular Finn Balor will be sacrificed and conquered, but hopefully not before he makes a great game with Brock. Pick: Brock Lesnar

Stella Cheeks : I'm shocked to write these words, but I'm really looking forward to this game. Do I think Balor will win? No, but I think he's going to try so hard that Brock has no choice but to come and work. If they want to force me to deliver a David and Goliath fairy tale, damn it, I eat it. Pick: Brock Lesnar

Daniel Bryan Vs. AJ Styles

Geno Mrosko : I just hope they have time to do something really good because we know they can do something even better. But somebody will have to sacrifice time for this show, and I'm afraid they'll sacrifice it here. We will see. In both cases, I see no compelling reason to switch back the title now. Pick: Daniel Bryan

Sean Rueter : The #AJStylesWeinerChallenge was everything I wanted. But for my rumble selection, that path has to go in one direction, and that means the angry vegan breaks that red neck. Pick: Daniel Bryan

Kyle Decker : Can you imagine taking Daniel Bryan's title down? The consequences for the planet would be devastating! Mother Earth needs him to defeat consumer styles. Selection: Daniel Bryan

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : See, I do not know if you're a nerd, but I'm interested in the planet. Pick: Daniel Bryan

Cain A. Knight : I do not really see anything different in the "real" AJ Styles, but that does not mean that this will not be a great game. I can only hope that it ends with a phenomenal hot dog through a mustard-covered table. My best guess is that Styles will lose, and Mr. McMahon will put more pressure on AJ to take a snap. Pick: Daniel Bryan

Stella Cheeks : Daniel Bryan forces AJ Styles to make a vegan hot dog. AJ is so disgusted and distracted that DBry gets the 1-2-3. Instant classic. Viennese challenge completed. Pick: Daniel Bryan

Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks

Geno Mrosko : The game that I'm most looking forward to seeing, mainly because both are incredible when it comes to editing the game they put together. There is a clear favorite she can win, and probably she should, but you can count on Sasha to give you a real chance to get him out. Pick: Ronda Rousey

Sean Rueter : It's going to be wild and as the kids say (or a couple of years ago, we used to say it's hard for old people to keep up). Here. To the. It. All of the women's games in this show seem like chapters in a larger story, so this selection is linked to my predictions for them. It is also tied to the elimination chamber, where The Boss will get back that prize to lift another belt over her head. Pick: Ronda Rousey

Kyle Decker : I'm so excited for this game. Damn, both women are probably the two non-rumble games I'm looking forward to the most. However, there is no way Rousey loses the title. Looks like Sasha needs to find someone who can wash their feet with their hair. Selection: Ronda Rousey

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : The whole discussion about whether Ronda will be there after WrestleMania made me curious here. It seems obvious that she will hold the title at least by the big title, but will she really position her as […] loser at Mania ? It's a longshot, but I'm going with the boss here because I can not help believing that we're getting a slip-up somewhere here. So why not right now? Pick: Sasha Banks

Cain A. Knight : I am super-hyped for this match and expect it to be fascinating from start to finish. It seems pretty predictable that Sasha Banks will prevail. But would not it be much more interesting if Charlotte or Becky came to repay Ronda for TLC? They could lead to a disqualification, leaving WWE Rousey Vs. Banks in February or March at a PPV can visit again. Or they could actually knock Rousey out of the title, leaving open the possibility for Rousey to enter and win the rumble match. This will probably be a bit of a blast, but you never know. Pick: Ronda Rousey

Stella Cheeks : Look, I know Sasha will reach Ronda, but I'm not looking at this match. I'm watching because the BOSS is back and I want to see what innovations she brings to this match. Ronda is still very green, but she has a lot of chemistry with Sasha. As for the story (and probably the IRL as well), both have so much to prove – Ronda, that she's not a paper-hand, Sasha, that she still has it. The emotions and uses of this game make it a must. Pick: Ronda Rousey

Asuka Vs. Becky Lynch

Geno Mrosko : The thing about Lynch is that she really does feel like a star, but it's hard to say if this is actually the case in WWE in 2019. taking into account the metrics and how the business is run. If so, maybe more money is in the pursuit. In this case she can lose here. But if she's so hot, you have to have the title on her, right? This is a difficult question, and ignoring the rumors that she may have won the Royal Rumble. Pick: Becky Lynch

Sean Rueter : This does not mean that she does not win the Rumble either. Pick: Becky Lynch

Kyle Decker : I really want to pick Becky Lynch to win this AND the Rumble. But I do not see that WWE only has a women's championship match in Mania. That's why Becky can not win the title back. They need to find a creative way to protect them without making Asuka look bad, which will be a difficult task. But I do not think Becky is going with the gold. Selection: Asuka

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Well, I've contradicted my other picks so far and will not do it anymore. Considering that I called Ronda without winning the title or winning the Rumble, it seems wrong when Becky regains the title. Ergo … Pick: Asuka

Cain A. Knight : A win here for Becky would jeopardize why WWE had dropped the title a month ago. But Becky will win at least one game that evening, so I might as well start with this one. Pick: Becky Lynch

Stella Cheeks : I just do not think Becky will win both games. When this game happens before the rumbling of women and Becky loses, the crowd gets sad but when she wins the rumble, you've brought the crowd the ultimate roller coaster of emotions. In addition, Asuka continues to be champion and with Becky's focus on Ronda and the main event of WrestleMania she can build up some new feuds in the SD women's list. Asuka vs Nikki Cross 2.0 anyone? Pick: Asuka

The Bar vs. Shane McMahon & The Miz

Geno Mrosko : There are many reasons to believe that they will really give the titles to the challengers here, but I think you do not and work the story around it. The bar is better with the belts. Pick: The Bar

Sean Rueter : Vince McMahon probably believes that the biggest signal he can send out is that he TOTALLY TAGING TAG SERIOUSLY by strapping his son. Pick: Shane McMahon & The Miz

Kyle Decker : The lovable odd couple tag team always wins this kind of match. Suitably, they beat a team that has formed itself into an odd couple team. Besides, it's a title Shane never held. Pick: Shane McMahon & Miz

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : I'm still stunned by how touching Shane and Miz are – casual friendship, and I'm not ashamed to say that I rolled a tear once or twice while talking about their own have taken care of respective daddy issues. I want to see those crazy kids pick up the W, damn it! Pick: The World's Best Tag Team (Shane McMahon & the Miz)

Cain A. Knight : The bar will lose some titles within a few minutes at Some Kid and Shane McMahon a year. And WWE wonders why many fans can not take their tag division seriously. Pick: Shane McMahon & The Miz

Stella Cheeks : This match is a classic way to the WrestleMania springboard. We're clearly setting up a kind of Miz / Shane McMahon feud, and winning the tag titles would add a nice level to their eventual decline as a team. Just look how well that worked for Dean and Seth (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL). I just hope there are cakes. Pick: Shane McMahon & The Miz

Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Geno Mrosko : From winning the Royal Rumble last year to the pre-show this year. Hey, at least it's a title fight against a wrestler everyone loves! He will probably even win! Pick: Shinsuke Nakamura

Sean Rueter : Hey, look! It is the Royal Rumble winner 2018! Pick: Rusev

Kyle Decker : This feud has not been shown on TV for weeks. I somehow forgot that it was one thing. No reason to put it back on Nakamura. Rusev can instead run with the forgotten belt. (Feud with Mustafa Ali, please!) Pick: Rusev

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Hey, you know, the Royal Rumble is falling on Rusev Day this year! Pick: Rusev

Cain A. Knight : I'd be surprised if they put the title back here on Nakamura. It's in the pre-show, and Nakamuras had Rusev in the foreground last month. It's time for Rusev to clear away Nakamura and end this feud. Pick: Rusev

Stella Cheeks : Oh thank goodness they added this match. I was afraid this show would only take four hours. Pick: Rusev

Buddy Murphy Vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Kalisto vs. Hideo Itami

Geno Mrosko : Pick: Akira Tozawa

Sean Rueter : Both, because he's the only guy, I was cruiserweight champion in this match and because I see it one "Please sign with us and stay a part of our huge supply of talent instead of joining another lined move. Pick: Hideo Itami

Kyle Decker : Go with Buddy Murphy because champions often win lethal 4-way. Selection: Buddy Murphy

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Buddy Murphy continues to search for bigger and better challenges and is the best of all and I will not bet against him here. Pick: Buddy Murphy

Cain A. Knight : I learned from Kyle Decker a long time ago that the champion in this type of match is not actually disadvantaged. Pick: Buddy Murphy

Stella Cheeks : Do you know what? Pick: Hideo Itami

So we see how the card plays out.

How about you?
