Stomping Grounds Predictions

Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin

Geno Mrosko : I am delighted that Special Guest Referee Bob Lashley is impacting the outcome. Selection: Seth Rollins

Sean Rueter : Who cares about the match? I am just ringing for this sweet, sweet, special referee revelation. Tip: Seth Rollins

Kyle Decker : In no other world should Baron Corbin win this match. I suppose you can do that where he wins and Brock Lesnar beats him for it right away. But even that would make no sense if Brock defeated only Becky Lynch's friend for the title. Selection: Seth Rollins

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Crom! I have never prayed to you. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good or bad people. Why we fought or why we died. All that matters is that Baron Corbin will not become Universal Champion today. This is important! Bravery pleases you, Crom; So give me a request. Give me revenge! And if you do not listen, then hell with you! Selection: Seth Rollins

Cain A. Knight : The main reason why WWE's product was so terrible after WrestleMania 35 is Shane McMahon, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Lacey Evans. And now we're here with Baron Corbin in a PPV main event. I hope the referee turns out to be a 24/7 champion, and that match will actually become a showcase for that title. But Vince will probably dive into his 1

996 box of tricks and bring out Fake Dean Ambrose. Selection: Seth Rollins

Kofi Kingston v. Dolph Ziggler

Geno Mrosko : It really should have been Ziggler. We are not at this point anymore. Tip: Kofi Kingston

Sean Rueter : You're right, Dolph. I have never had your back. Still not. Selection: Kofi Kingston

Kyle Decker : This always felt like a feud for a few months before there was a more legitimate challenger to Kofi. The bigger question is whether or not they will extend this to SummerSlam for another show. Selection: Kofi Kingston

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : We are far enough in Kofi's reign that my pessimism has abated, and I expect no loss until it feels meaningful, and feel Dolph Ziggler making a cumbersome CM-punk cosplay with whining screams does not make sense. Tip: Kofi Kingston

Cain A. Knight : I do not know why WWE believes they can beat a guy for ten years, and then expect the fans to make him a credible threat to the top title represents. Not too long ago, Kingston was not a credible threat to the WWE championship. This changed, however, after Kofi had been booked as an absolute top star for several months. WWE has skipped that critical step with Ziggler, so he seems to be out of place here. Choice: Kofi Kingston

Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans

Geno Mrosko : Call me crazy, but it seems they absolutely love Lacey. I do not think they should do that, but I think they need something to shake things up a bit. Selection: Lacey Evans

Sean Rueter : The lady may one day be a top act in the women's section, but the past few weeks have proven that this day is not yet there. Choice: Becky Lynch

Kyle Decker : Man, if Becky loses the title here, that would be an epic cut off someone's legs. It would be a terrible move to change two PPVs from either title later at WrestleMania . That does not mean they will not, but I hope they realize how bad that is. Selection: Becky Lynch

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Damn, I've already copied and pasted Conan. To be fair, I like Lacey better than Baron – her wardrobe is sometimes a bit crazy, but she has a lot of potential. Aha, but again there is the word "potential". As in, she is not there yet. Pick: Becky Lynch

Cain A. Knight : Becky's momentum has seriously faltered during this severe post-WrestleMania lull, and it should be a top priority to change that. In other words, Lynch taps out Evans and moves to a new Challenger closer to her level. But is this person just on Raw? If not, Evans may actually have a chance. Selection: Becky Lynch

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss

Geno Mrosko : They have shown time and again that they are willing to make an effort to put Alexa on the belt. Why should this be different here? Alexa Bliss

Sean Rueter : Alexa and Nikki Cross will be arguing sometime in the not-too-distant future, and their win on the SmackDown title does not really help. Tip: Bayley

Kyle Decker : It's very, very difficult ever to bet Alexa Bliss in a title match. Personally, I'd like to see a double turn – Bayley turns the heel in a way that makes Alexa a face. Shake things up a bit. They probably will not do that, but I still choose the Hugger victory. Selection: Bayley

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Nikki Cross tries good-naturedly to avoid her friend Alexa, it goes awry, Bayley stays tuned. Tip: Bayley

Cain A. Knight : This is the most interesting game on the map. Bliss does a great job on the microphone, everything about Bayley's presentation has a new dynamic and Nikki Cross even gets some TV time out of this story. Even a break from Charlotte Flair in the championship scene is a great help. Bayley needs that win more than Bliss, which means Bliss will probably win. I will stay optimistic. Selection: Bayley

Roman Reigns v. Drew McIntyre

Geno Mrosko : This was not quite interesting at WrestleMania and it is now somehow worse with Shane McMahon's involvement. This is hampered by the fact that it is only a setup match between Reigns and McMahon. McIntyre deserves better. Tip: Roman Reigns

Sean Rueter : The story has not gotten any better since they fought at WrestleMania 35 . Hopefully the match will be unforgettable? Mania game? But that was a long night and everything WWE did, since this is not the 24/7 title or Firefly Funhouse converges for me, and I really do not remember much, except that the Big Dog won. However, on their way to a great moment of overcoming SummerSlam, they are constantly piling up on Romey, so The Revival's and / or Shane O'Mack's interference returns the big Scot's prize. Selection: Drew McIntyre

Kyle Decker : Drew will not beat Reigns. I mean, he's not Shane McMahon. Selection: Roman Reigns

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : The Big Dog is the only good dog, and the Scottish psychopath has had no moral center in his character ever since he led the indictment against the WWE during his developmental period. Dead easy. Selection: Roman Reigns

Cain A. Knight : The Shane McMahon story kills the product and must be completed as soon as possible. McIntyre might need that victory, but it would be a bad idea for Reigns to lose consecutive pay-per-view matches against Shane McMahon and his lackeys. Vince McMahon seems to think that Shane McMahon is a bigger star than McIntyre. I think Reigns won here to prove he deserves another match with Shane. Selection: Roman Reigns

Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet

Geno Mrosko : On Ricochet they seem to get hot and cold depending on the week. I guess you're keen on him this week. Selection: Ricochet

Sean Rueter : This should be the beginning of a good feud that does not really help me with a prediction. The champion could be held back with sneaky means or caught with a lightning pin. Either they would continue their edition. Since we are currently potatoes hot red, white and blue, we should opt for the first option. Choice: Samoa Joe

Kyle Decker : I can see how WWE shakes things up by putting the exciting newcomer in the belt pouch, hoping to arouse a bit more interest in her product. Joe's title government was an idiot anyway. Pick: Ricochet

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : Allegedly there was this plan to use money in the bank to really find a new man. Sure, that's off the table, but maybe the One and Only can be the beneficiary of a similar tactic against Samoa Joe. Tip: Ricochet

Cain A. Knight : These guys may deliver the best match of the night. For the last two months, I've seen Ricochet being held by Robert Roode, Baron Corbin, and Cesaro, so he's probably the outsider here. I hope Ricochet has been working on his surprise rollup skills, because this move is always Joe's biggest weakness. Selection: Samoa Joe

Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. Heavy Machinery

Geno Mrosko : I can not imagine a title change here, but something weird has happened! Yes, I can not even persuade myself, no matter how much I love Otis. Tip: Bryan & Big Flannel

Sean Rueter : Surely they will not take off the belts of the planet's tag team champions during a tag team evolution. In addition, Otis & Tucky already have the Yolo County belts, which I think are more prestigious anyway. Selection: Daniel Bryan & Rowan

Kyle Decker : Love me a few Otis, but they need Bryan, who anchors the division. Can Otis (and the other I cherish) enjoy so much without the porters as we can with them. Selection: Daniel Bryan and Rowan

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : I like Heavy Machinery and everything, but this is no time for a change – Bryan and Rowan have not even made the tag titles all beautiful and renewable! Tip: Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan

Cain A. Knight : Bryan and Otis are here, so this match should be pretty entertaining, especially in front of a crowd that Bryan adores. The singles scene desperately needs Daniel Bryan's presence again, so I hope the baby faces emerge as champions. I do not think WWE will pull that trigger yet. Selection: Daniel Bryan & Rowan

The New Day Against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Geno Mrosko : We're really just here until Owens and Zayn get dressed again. That's long overdue. Selection: New Day

Sean Rueter : My husband Large Epsilon won on Twitter when he was on the road, and I think the winning streak stops here. What? It makes as much sense as anything else. Selection: New Day

Kyle Decker : Kevin and Sami have recently taken a few Ls, so turn it around here. It would be good to legitimize them and possibly use them in SmackDown's Tag title scene (though Sami is on Raw, but none of that counts anymore). Celebrating the new day would be a great way to make it look good. Selection: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : There are literally fewer picks for Owens and Zayn than I write that, so I'm just playing the odds. Selection: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Cain A. Knight : This is one of those matches where it does not matter who wins. Just sit back, enjoy four impressive wrestlers doing their thing, and try to forget that heels were caught up in a two-in-three match on Raw and SmackDown this week. Selection: New Day

Tony Nese Vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak

Geno Mrosko : Selection: Tony Nese

Sean Rueter : Now that he has stopped trying to make life better and is only there for himself, it is clear the time of the Philadelphia Stretcher. Choice: Drew Gulak

Kyle Decker : I still do not watch 205 Live, but it's crazy that Gulak has not won this title yet. Selection: Drew Gulak

Rev. Claire Elizabeth : I've seen what Drew Gulak is capable of when he lifts the governor. That's his time. Selection: Drew Gulak

Cain A. Knight : I went back and forth all week, losing far too many hours to find out. Selection: Drew Gulak

This is how we see the playing of the map.
