Xiaomi has announced the Mi Max 3, the newest and largest in its series of giant cell phones. This time, the screen is 6.9 inches tall and Xiaomi uses a 18: 9 screen for the first time in the series. The upper and lower panels are present, although they are quite thin relative to the width of the screen. The resolution is 1080p, so you'll probably be able to spot pixels, but that's probably not a big problem for users who want something like a primary video device.

The Mi Max 3 starts at 1,699 yuan for a model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is available in blue, black and gold and will be available for sale tomorrow in China. Not a word on India or anywhere else, although Xiaomi will announce in the coming week in Spain the Android One-powered Mi A2 for the global market.
