Today is Henry Cavill's birthday and to celebrate Zach Snyder's "DCEU Man of Steel", Zach Snyder has visited Social Media to make Cavill into a whole Sharing Special Superman Costume – – Christopher Reeves
Snyder posted the image on his Vero account and stated that he was putting Cavill in the iconic suit to show Warner Bros. that Cavill was the perfect Superman in to play from the year 2013 Man of Steel . You can see the picture below.
And Cavill wore the Reeve suit not just for a photo: Snyder told Dujour in 2016 that, since the suit was not made for Man of Steel Cavill also wore Reeves suit for his audition – a step that may have helped him get the role.
"We did not make the suit when Henry called, so he wore Christopher Reeve's original suit." Said Snyder. "He put it on and when he came out of the trailer, everyone was like 'Dang, you're Superman!'"
Performing an actor in a classic superhero costume is not unknown. Christian Bale played for Batman Begins in a suit from Joel Schumacher's Director Batman Forever and Batman & Robin but Cavill in Reeves' suit feels like a more significant feature. Reeves' 1978 depiction of Superman in the film is iconic and informs about how the hero is culturally perceived, and influences the contemporary interpretation of the character and the world. Even the Superman series by Syfy, Krypton – which still stands before Superman, has elements that recall Superman .
As far as Snyder is concerned, the photo is the latest post by the director who has talked a lot about Vero about his time in the DCEU. In recent weeks, Snyder has shared some little tidbits – backstage information, answer fan questions, explain things – about Batman v Superman in particular, with fans about this film and Man of Steel , He has been much calmer in the Justice League.
