Zion Williamson: Duke Commit Hurts Thumb McDonald's Game (Video)



Williamson is the recruit No. 3 in the country according to 247 Sport and committed to Duke.

Zion Williamson, the No. 3 basketball recruit in the nation for the 2018 Class of 247 Sports, left the McDonalds All-American after injuring his thumb.

Late in the second half of the show, Williamson, who is required to join Duke, moved back North Carolina, committing Nassir Little as he pulled the ball back to the three-point line and tried to drive into the basket.

When Williamson attacked the hole, Little knocked the ball away and when Williamson lost control, he landed awkwardly on his right hand.

The left-handed product from South Carolina's Spartanburg Day School did not return to the game.



Williamson has become a viral sensation, thanks to his highlight dunks that are making many wait for his college basketball debut. He won the McDonald's Dunk Contest on Monday night and was hired by his colleague Duke Cameron Reddish (# 1

Jeff Goodman from ESPN.com reports Williamson will see his personal orthopedist on Thursday.
